A local buyer recently paid an "impressive" price per unit for the Quincy Commons apartment community in Denver.

"It was a very impressive price per unit for an asset of its vintage," Apartment Realty Advisors' Doug Andrews said of the sale, whose price he did not disclose.

However, according to public records, Archstone-Smith sold Quincy Commons for $19.62 million, or $96,185 per unit.

Grand Peaks of Denver purchased Quincy Commons, which was renamed Grand Quincy Commons.
